New FDMC PRO-FAST Project Competition

On or about February 10, 2005, Requests for Proposals will be available for new Business Enterprise Integration or Technical Research and Development projects within the FDMC PRO-FAST Program. Proposals will be sought for innovations in forging design, acquisition and manufacturing.

The PRO-FAST (Procurement Readiness Optimization Forging Advanced Systems Technologies) Program is a multi year, Manufacturing Technology Program sponsored by the Defense Logistics Agency. The program is being implemented by the prime contractor (ATI) in concert with the Forging Industry Association - Department of Defense Manufacturing Consortium.

RFPs will be ready for release no earlier than February 10th, 2005. Parties interested in receiving an RFP package should email their request to Wayne Wilcher at wilcher@aticorp.org no earlier than the posting of the announcement on February 10th, 2005 Proposals will be due at ATI on March 10th, 2005.
