Growth and Development

ATIThe drive to excel at what you do comes with the need for continued professional growth and development.

That's why we commit ourselves to the orientation, training, and development of our employees with a company-wide strategy to invest in people that includes Mentoring, Coaching, Education, Training, and Developmental assignments.

Challenging responsibilities and the opportunity to grow as fast as each individual’s capabilities allow:

  • A thorough orientation helps new employees quickly acclimate to the fast pace and immediate responsibility – and to get to know the other people here.
  • Our meritocracy culture provides upward mobility - we promoted 24% of associates last year.
  • We provide the detailed feedback that people want and need to improve their earning power. Annual skills assessments help to refine individual skill development plans.

We are committed to continuous training and career development tailored to each individual:

  • Tailored career development plans include in-house training and company-funded skills courses.
  • Last year, 98% of ATI associates completed at least one form of company-paid training – most participated in multiple training/ educational opportunities.
  • In-house training is a matter of routine. Last year, our Professional Development Series of training and education courses included Communication and Presentation Skills, Facilitation Skills, Effective Negotiation, and Time Management.

Tuition reimbursement supports education and professional certification:

  • Three associates are attending evening MBA courses in classrooms adjacent to our office.
  • Administrative staff is trained to achieve Microsoft® Professional Certification.
  • Eleven employees were provided formal training for certification as Professional Project Management – and seven have completed the certification to date.

On-going professional development is also fostered through sponsored memberships in professional associations, which frequently include additional training, and certification opportunities.

  • Our people are involved in 26 different professional affiliations/memberships and participate in 12 professional certification programs.
  • Open, transparent communication sustains a high degree of trust with employees, partners and clients.
  • ATI Management was graded by employees as “outstanding” for communications effectiveness, frequency, credibility (external agency confidential survey, Mar 06).
